Gateway Solo 9300 Pro
This Gateway Solo 9300 Pro was my dad's second laptop. It was referred to as a desktop replacement computer and included many features that were normally only found on desktop computers of the time. This laptop has a 650MHz Pentium III, 32MB of RAM, a 10GB hard drive, and a DVD-ROM drive. It shipped with Windows 98 SE and served my dad well for many years thanks to RAM and OS upgrades along the way. I have since restored it to its original configuration and mostly use it with an OBD-II connection kit to perform diagnostics on my family's cars. Sadly, the Gateway Solo has started to develop a large display cataract, so I've had to put together a replacement system that can take on most of its duties.
