Macintosh LC III

Macintosh LC III

Apple sold the Macintosh LC III from February 1993 to February 1994. It featured a 25MHz Motorola 68030, up to 36MB of RAM, and a 40MB, 80MB, or 160MB hard drive. The LC III came with System 7.1 and could run up through Mac OS 7.6.1. Between operating system updates, external peripherals and upgrades such as modems and CD-ROM drives, and internal upgrades such as RAM, graphics memory, FPU (Motorola 68882), and PDS slot, the Macintosh LC III is a quintessential 90s computer that could have easily served its user well through the end of the decade.
